Events at Union Club

Union Club Tacoma is a perfect space for your event needs, from weddings, to graduation parties, to retirement celebrations, to non-profit fundraisers, to corporate meetings, our event hall is perfect for whatever event you are hosting. Come down the stairs and enter into a different time. With original rustic wood floors, chic white walls, a historic grand fireplace, and abundant natural light, the Union Club can transform into your dream event space. Walk up the stairs to a peaceful and private meeting room for business needs. Overlooking Commencement Bay, the Union Club balcony holds commanding views of Mount Rainier, the Port of Tacoma, and the Puyallup Valley.

We require membership for all events rentals, the minimum membership level to host events is $175/month for our Commons Membership. Union Club requires lessee to obtain private security company to accompany their event. Please reach out to the Event Manager for a list of preferred security companies.


Main Hall

Discover our 2400-square-foot semi-private event space featuring a wet bar and a small deck, perfect for hosting wedding receptions and various events. With a capacity for up to 200 standing guests or 120 seated at round tables, we provide the essentials, including round and rectangle tables, white banquet chairs, and flexibility in catering options.

Should you need additional seating, we can refer you to rental companies to ensure a seamless event planning experience.

Main Deck

The main deck is the largest of our three gracious balconies with sound facing views. This outdoor space can seat roughly 50 people. Comes furnished with bistro tables and chairs, cocktail tables and barstools, soft seating (outdoor seating), and a large family style table.
